Hi All, I got my oath scheduled on 24th May.Scarborough office. I have moved to Vancouver from Toronto, but the file still has my old address. How do I update the address and will they still send the certificate to Vancouver address despite my application being from Toronto ?

I am not sure if I sent the email to correct people , just replied on the test invite email. Do I need to email a specific person and how do I find it out ?

I gave the citizenship test 2 days back , ie on 10th Feb 2023. Before the test, forgot to take a photo of my id. I did pass the test but not sure if it will be invalidated ? When I realized my mistake after 2 hours of giving the test , I replied on the invite email that was sent for the test...

I got the invite as well. I am out of country and can’t return during the test window. Should I let them know and does it affect my application further ?

I am starting to wonder if there is anything wrong with our application or we just happen to be the unlucky few ? Have you tried using the webform or called ircc.

Got it. So once I take the oath and need to travel out of the country the next day , will I be able to travel ?

Thanks. I thought the oath ceremony was done online. When you say physically present, does it mean Oath ceremony happens at a specific place or is it just that your presence in the country is required ?

Is the citizenship letter sent to the physical address ? If you plan to go out of Canada after oath invite, will that be a concern in the remainder of citizenship process ?

Yeah thats what i found strange, i applied on Friday 27th May around 3pm, which makes me doubt the email i got is an AOR or not.

I received an email of acknowledgement for the citizenship application with an application number. is this what we call AOR? Does it mean my application is complete and wont be returned back ?

I added PR card as a piece of ID along with my passport and submitted on 27th May.Should i expect my application to be rejected ? and do i have to fill the entire application online again once i get the rejection email ? is there a certain date i should expect the email like 20-25 days or more ?

Congrats!! My application was received on 7th April 2022 and decision made on April 28th but still no further messages. Are there more checks being made after decision made which causes any delays ?
