Hi, Is it still possible to immigrate to Quebec without local education or experience? My boyfriend is Italian, in IT industry and wants to try to move here via Quebec skilled worker program. But it seems it is almost impossible if he does not have a validate job offer...He has been sending CVs...

I have another question, as I am completing all the forms for my mother who does not speak English, should I complete the form "use of a representative"? If I am her sponsor, can I be her representative? Thanks!

I do not believe so. The officer may ask what you do now during the interview, but I do not think unemployed relates to the requirement of being a citizen.

I asked if I could apply for urgent process in Montreal and got a message that I need to submit supporting as to why I need urgent process, which I did not submit. Now I wonder if my process will be delayed because I asked for urgent process and did not send any supporting..:(

Any folks in Montreal have update recently? I saw on CIC only two oath ceremony on Dec 18 this month. I have been in DM for over 6 weeks and still no informaton about the oath ceremony. ECAS no update either.

Are you also applying in Montreal? Every time I tried to call CIC I got an automatic message that the line is busy and was never able to speak to an agent. Good luck with your application. I really hope Montreal can speed up a bit.
