I would think once you have landed...you can do whatever you wish, work for yourself or for someone else. Nothing says you have to tell IRCC after you have landed and your COPR has been stamped. Just my 2 cents.

I would imagine IRCC would accept an expired document due to COVID. Just my guess. Who knows what a bureaucrat thinks.

Reference letter? I did not add that. Just my samples of writings, business article of incorporation and a business plan after I land in Canada. My role is that I have authored several textbooks in health care and policy evaluation. At this point, all I can do is wait.

I submitted my medical with self-employed application, I completed medical but wonder if IRCC will accept it and extend its validity or should I request or wait. Would hate to have to re-do it because of IRCC's delay and no fault of my own. Thoughts appreciated.

I would get a canadian immigration lawyer now from UAE or Canada, to help get your package full and ready to respond.

I would think you would need to document 2 years at time of application submission.
