I have not, at this point I just want to get this over, I'm doing whatever they request. I will be flying to Colombia by the end of December and wait until my wife is ready to come to Canada
18 months? unacceptable, Bogota VO is one of the top worst processing visa offices, congratulations give me hope to hear that finally, this office is approving and finishing applications.

Hi, International flights could potentially start after August 31, for those cannot read Spanish, use the google translate tool, this link is from the main newspaper in Colombia...
o_O Well, finally I get to read some good news, I hope we all have our applications processed soon, it's really hard to be married but away from our love ones
Good luck to everyone
I agree, my wife tourist visa was denied, and the biometrics and fees thrown in the garbage, best bet if to apply for PR if you're willing to wait the 12 months process.
Hello Johnny, I follow the Canadian consul/embassy on twitter, and they're only working on essential services to Canadians citizens in Colombia, we're for sure facing a backlog and probably several months added to the regular processing time.
Thanks!!
The Canadian part of the process is pretty fast, Bogota VO is the road block, as per my experience you will never get updates from BogVO about the police check, what company did you use for the police check? G4S or Omnitempus?
Thanks
