My spouse (common-law) came here on a sponsored work visa last year and I was granted an open work visa. We recently separated with no intention of getting back together (whatever "divorce" is in common-law terms). What will happen to my open work visa? Who should I contact?

Topic is my question. Will I submit my US passport at the time of application? Do they already have those records internally?
