Pre-registration formalities with citizenship clerk (verifying your details, showing your PR cards etc) -15mins Oath administration by Judge - 30mins Post-oath formalities (cutting up your PR cards, Q&A etc)- 15min Total - 60mins

You'll need to wait a virtual oath ceremony invite. They are happening at a brisk pace.

Thank you. Sounds very likely. I've noticed that in most cases they notify atleast a full week of in advance.

I understand the sarcasm in your post but not all people have 24/7 access to their phone.

People miss their oaths all the time, sometimes for reasons beyond their control. Rescheduled oath ceremonies are are the very bottom of the long list of reasons for delays we are experiencing.

@hardnut, did you receive your oath invite yet? I missed my virtual oath ceremony today and was wondering if I need to submit a webform.

I just did not monitor my email as I had a very busy day at work. I wont blame them, but it'd have ben nice if they gave a bit more notice. The citizenship clerk called me and said she'd book us in for another ceremony in 2 weeks.
