If you have applied using the PR portal, then you already have credentials. P2 is nothing more than a notification saying you can log back in to finalize your application. No need to call. If the email was sent, you would see it there. https://prson-srpel.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/login

you cannot become PR when abroad. You will need to let them know you need to travel. They will put it on hold until you are back.

you will need an accountant to help with crossborder taxes. company will need to pay things like CPP, EI, etcetera. Unless you want to be a contractor and pay those yourself. You'll be even more poor than most Canadians already are though.

It needs to specifically be a closed work permit such as IEC Young Professionals and you have a valid job offer.

You are still allowed to travel. It will delay becoming PR though.
