Congratulations ri123 on the DM! PPR coming soon! :) I got my passport back and they gave me until April 2016. I haven't decided yet if I should also just go to CIC Service Canada in Edmonton or just go to the border. What are you planning to do so far in terms of landing?

Hi everyone, Received my passport and COPR back on August 7th. I sent it on July 29. October 20 applicant. Now thinking of either flagpoling, service Canada in Edmonton, or just take a vacation and come back. Anyone would like to share cross border experience and which is the best option?

They did not ask for additional documents. Just an email woth three steps; 1.) inform them of any change of status (i.e., married, divorced, having a baby) 2.) passport request 3.) where and how to send the passport, leave two blank passport pages for it. Is this what everyone who got PPR...

I did pay RPRF upfront that's why I'm not really expecting to get a request for that. I just wanted to know at least if people who got a request got an In Process as well. I'm not sure if they will skip In Process to Decision Made for those who paid upfront. Ri123, I know you paid upfront too...

Hi guys, How do we update the spreadsheet? I think a lot of us now are in the waiting after getting the medicals done. Anyone from the October 2014 batch have their status changed to "In Process" already?

Wow that was really fast. Usually they tell us they'll submit the medical results within 10 business days. And only God knows how long those guys update the ECAS after receiving the medicals. So you must be super, extremely healthy then. Hehe :)

Oh nice! Good for you, I'm glad you did that at least your slot is secured when you receive request for medical. It won't be a problem to re-schedule anyway if need be. At least people in this forum now know they can do the same. Thanks for the update! I have also paid my landing fees already as...

Thanks for your insight regarding the landing fees, I'm definitely gonna pay it right away knowing that! In regards to the booking, a family member of mine booked it for me. Since she went there in person, they asked for the paper for the medical request, which you will receive from CIC via...

Heritage Village in Century Park. I guess there's no harm in trying to book earlier, but I am not sure if they will take your booking if you don't have at least an AOR yet. In February maybe they were still available but in remember in March, a new batch of people received AOR's and Medical...

    October 2014 PNP CIC Applicants

Hello, I am from Edmonton, AB, so I did my medical at the Heritage Medicentre in Century Park. Initially, I called all 6 physicians in Edmonton and none could get me a booking within 30 days. So we went to the Medicentre to try anyway and I was very very fortunate that someone backed out and I...

Hey guys, Question. For all those who already applied PR and done their medicals; Have you paid your landing fees in advance? What's the advantage and disadvantage of paying it in advance? I just finished my medical yesterday and I'm thinking to pay the landing fees (RPRF). Thoughts?
