Hello, Received an update from Delhi Immigration. The medical was already passed on May 17, 2023 and is valid upto March 24, 2024. Does my father need to redo the medical?

Same thing with my father's Supervisa application. He applied in Feb 2022, medical passed on May 2023, and its just sitting in background check with no update. Looks like he's going to miss his grandson 2nd birthday as well.

Still no update on father's application and no update from the MP. Should he apply again for SuperVisa or just wait? Ughh.. This is just never ending.. He has applied twice. I really don't want them to miss their grandsons 1st birthday. :(

How do you reach out to local MP? Does it have to be specific member in Parliament working under immigration role or just any role is fine?

I applied back in Feb 2022. My mother got her SuperVisa in June, but no update on my father's application. They told me the file has been transferred to New Delhi and asked me to reach them out.

And they don't even refund for the old application, which is sad :( Anyone planning to sue IRCC ? :rolleyes:

Do not apply both. My parents applied for SuperVisa in April 2021> then applied for Visitor Visa in Aug 2021. Supervisa got withdrawn. Then they reapplied for Supervisa again on IRCC new portal on Feb 9th > visitor visa got withdrawn. So just apply one of them and wait until the processing...

Congratulations man. I got my mom's PPR today, but no update on my dad's application since after they submitted medical upfront in March 2022. They applied for supervisa on Feb 9th. What does MP means? And how do I contact them? My dad has not received any email for additional medical request.

I applied for my parent back in April 2021 and they got the biometrics done in August 2021. But no update after that. I think one would have to re-apply from IRCC portal again because they were not vaccinated before Sep 7, but now they are.
