Not sure what NDVO decides but the PPR email that I received clearly says that passport validity must be at least 6 months. Since your passport in concern is already with NDVO, you can not reissue it. I would suggest you to contact NDVO thru' appointment, email, call - whatever manner it is...

I don't think they will again do BC. But this is my personal opinion. You can check ECAS frequently if the status changed to Decision Made. There is a whatsapp group active who are waiting for PPR from NDVO. You can join that group. Thanks!
