Same case with me, they started processing my application on 17th Dec 2020 (they received it on 21st oct 2020), and no progress after that (not even decision made)

I was talking about PR Card renewal (not the first PR card). In case of PR card renewal, the province should not matter because all applications goto nova scotia, sydney office.

It will be around 56 to 60 days for you to receive AOR which says "we have received your application and started processing it"...it will be another 2 months from that date (approximately) for u to receive the new card..

Iv seen november applicants reach "decision made" stage on this forum.. there is certain element of randomness here i guess...

I read it correctly the first time itself, the quick process i was referring to (if you read my previous messages carefully) was the time they took between the two steps, namely, "started processing your application on 5th Jan" and "Decision made on 6th Jan"..they took just 1 day to go from...

This is quite puzzling man....how can they make decision within 1 day?? Was it under urgent category (your application)? Or may be you were in Canada all through out last 5 years and that made it easier for them...but iv not heard about such quick processing apart from urgent applications...
