Can someone please comment on the time it takes to get PR after submitting a complete application? I got an invitation to apply for my parent. The current timeline says that CIC is working on 2014 applications. Does this timeline applicable to the new lottery system candidate as well?

Have you guys called CIC? They give you application status information. I would ask them if the security is cleared or still in process. Good luck.

Can we get PPR on any weekdays or it is only on Monday and Friday?

I called CIC today, asking about the status of my application AOR Jan 19th, IP2 July 17th. According to the lady on the phone, I have completed all the checks including security. Agent work on my file yesterday (IP2). They will send me PPR soon, she didn't give any specific timeline for PPR.

Based on a very few sample, looks like it takes about 35 days from IP2 to PPR. I hope this trend will changes (or I hope my observation is wrong).

I have the nomination letter, however, the application needs "Letter from the nominating province or territory that supports the issuance of the work permit ". My understanding is that the requested letter is different than the one we got after the nomination.

Did you have to provide a supporting letter from your province for the bridge work permit application?
