    My brother is currently applying. His lawyer asked for copies of family Canadian status?

    Is that normal? The lawyer asked for photocopies of Canadian status proof for relatives of my brother's who are either Canadian or PRs. I am assuming this is for extra points under the 2017 improvement but is asking for photocopies of passports and PR cards normal and standard procedure?
