Your partner does not have a UCI number yet until his file reaches the Mexico City Visa office and you get an AOR (acknowledgement of receipt from the Canadian Embassy).. His PR applications has not started process...

You have nothing to worry about. Relax & apply for ETA....if you haven't had any problems with your application, I don't see why you would have a problem entering Canada with ETA (unless your husband has committed crimes, etc...)

You're very welcome countrygal! - we are all here to help each other.. At this stage for you, is almost a waste of time to get PPR.. Mexico will be a Visa free country as of Dec..1st and all you need is your COPR. Your husband can freely visit you while you get to the finish line :D
