Eventually mine got accepted, although I didn't receive confirmation of this until just over 2 weeks after giving biometrics. (Annoying as my friends came through a few hours after). They made a note on my biometrics at the time as my hands were so sweaty, so maybe just took longer to process.

Hi, how did it go 2nd time around? I had the same issue yesterday - a friend I was with got their confirmation email a few hours after the scan while I've not heard anything yet. Think it may be due to sweaty hands (seems unfair). Panicking in case it causes issues with application.
