ny question is, will I still receive a work permit support letter? When is that normally issued? I accepted the nomination in mycic account yesterday. My work permit expired two weeks ago. Does anyone have any experience with this that can shed me some light? Thanks.

Agreed. That is embarrassing that they cannot even give anyone a clear answer.

I tried both of those avenues as well. The Sydney office advised they couldn't help me - so I called CIC and they said they couldn't help me. I have submitted two enquiries on the CIC website for IEC but have not received any response yet.

Let me know what they say mate. I am in the same boat and have not been able to get a definitive answer on anything.

Please let me know the outcome of your conversation! I am here on my first Working Holiday and will be at the end of the 24 months in October of this year and definitely want to extend. :( This is very sad news.
