Is it poosible to renew my passport while i'm in canada??? My visa has already printed on my passport

My study permit has approved ..and valid till 12/04/17

My study permit got approved and its shows its expires in 2019/12/04 and my passport expires in 2019/12/06.though in my loa it shows my classes end in 2019/12/31.should i renew my passport??? Will they cut my study permit to my visa as my passport expires befor 10 days before my course...
