Gents, You forgot to mention that CIC accept renewal on urgent basis. When you send your application you have to include travel proof with it and write on the envelope " URGENT, TRAVEL PROOF INCLUDED" . They will be able to process in maximum 7 days from the date of receiving the application ...

Simply do not make landing within visa time period .

I dont think you are required to submit your new address after getting your PR card . It is only required if your PR in process for correspondences . Regards.

When i sent PR application my card has validity of 2 weeks ( sorry i said expired instead of expires this month ) , should i have sent it with application since it is still valid at the time application was sent ?? Please advise .

Thanks Leon , but as per check list for citizenship application ,its required to have a PR copy attached to the application . Is it acceptable to provide a copy of expired PR ? Please advise . By the way my PR expired this month and application for renewal has been sent a week ago .
