You are right.. Considerable time has passed and lawyer should have some work around for this.

I sent an email to the visa office and i got the same reply from them as you got. I am not sure if the email is good enough to show at the airport when the officer ask for it. Do you mind telling me when you are travelling to Canada.

My application was approved on 31st oct and i got the TRV 9th Nov. it processed by Bangalore Visa office.
