so glad i stumbeled across this post, im going through a very tough time trying to bring back my husband. i hope we can stay in touch through this difficult time, i havent started any application yet waiting to find a good lawyer who will take my case.

thanks for the reply, i did do a consultation with a lawyer via phone because i was with my husband out od the country. it was 250$ (joel sandaluk from mamann and sandaluk) and it lasted 6min at most he said i should contact a criminal defense lawyer he gave me a name when i spoke to that...

i havent found a good immigration lawyer thats why i asked again. sorry. any suggestions?

i hope i wont make this too long but here s our story: my husband was in canada for 8 years he overstayed his visa, after a few years of knowing each other we got married. in 2015 we decided it would be best if he went back to his country and applied from there through Family class so we did...

Hello everyone, we applied for a visa through spousal sponsorship and we were refused, apparently my husband (applicant) has a warrant for his arrest in canada, he didnt know about it so he left canada without knowing and whats mind boggling is that they didnt stop him at the airport (crazy) ...

I forgot to mention Im in Toronto, that tells you how much Im not thinking right at the moment just feeling lost...

if anyone knows of a good lawyer who handles complex cases please share it would help me greatly, Im feeling really down at this point.

thanks for the reply, no he doesnt know whats regarding he was shocked too to find it out, and he called me right away to tell me plus I dont see why he would hide it if he knew something knowing it will be exposed eventually....yes Im planning to see a lawyer.

This is my first time posting on this website, Im sponsoring my husband and he just had his interview and he was refused. we dont know the real reason for refusal yet but at the interview the officer told him that he doesnt seem to know much about me even if he answered all the questions good...
