I've seen people say that the PR card takes about 45 days to come after you land in Canada. Does anyone know if you can leave Canada again once you have it or do you need to stick around for a while?

Sorry I haven't given updates on our application. It was sent back to us because I forgot to include the first page of one of the forms (I can't believe I did that!). So I sent the application out again, this time complete, in Dec. So you might as well take me off of the spreadsheet for October...

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to track if Mississauga received my application if it was sent by regular mail?

I did my husband's application online. The immigration website said that this method is preferred, because it is easier for them to read and the code lets them (and you) know that you filled everything out and didn't miss any questions. Definitely the best way to go :)
