Thank you PMM! Has any one ever heard of any case that takes more than 50 days for the visitor visa applied online from New York? Something seriesouly went wrong?...

Applied on Oct 25 from New York... it takes way too long.. won't be able to submit the passport if the request comes after Dec 10.. What is the right CIC email/phone number? Tried to email/call them, no luck.. Thank you!!

Still nothing... any thing from you? can't think of anything that went wrong in the application.. plus, i lived there for 10 years before... need to get the visa before christmas.. so frustrated..

posting again here, as the separate thread was deleted.. I applied on Oct 25 online from New York. It's been over 3 weeks, still no passport request.. most people that I know got the visa within about 2 weeks.. Any one with similar experience?
