I sent my passport on July 16th, they received it on July 19th. Good news is I got my passport just before an hr. :) It takes around a month for processing.

You can't do that because your Canada Visa is expired. If you leave Canada ideally you cannot enter without a visa. If you have both Canada and US visa, you can process your work permit at the border. There is no way to process your visa at the border, you've to send it to CPPO.

CPPO received my application on July 19th. I'm still waiting for it. I'm expecting to receive it at least by Aug 15th or 20th max. Because of the long weekend it may delay a bit more.. Don't forget to post here guys when you receive it. Thanks...

If you do not have any visa, You have no option you have to apply to CIC. I don't know which corridor you mean, but customs officers can do your work permit with no cost I guess. It is very useful who have both the visas because you do not need to wait the 50-75 days which is really hard part...

Hi all. I don't know how many know this. If you have your required documents to apply for work permit you can cross the border and when you enter you can show all the documents and get your work permit done on the spot. I'm not sure whether you need to pay $150 or not. I went to US last month...

My TRV application delivered on July 19th and now waiting for it. I think it takes one month to process.

I'm lucky!. Applied LMO on April first week. Got my LMO approved on April 30th. Applied work permit on May 22nd and received my wp on July 04th :). Work permit approved for 3 years, that is till June 2015. ;) ;D.. Now applied for TRV. Hopefully I should get it by August 20th. Lets see.
