We have also lived together 2 years with his parents whilst I studied in canada on a student visa (I graduated high school there) We lived together 1 year in london when he did his masters here

The CIC officer told me I can return to canada after the 1 year ban is up. she said time would fly in no time at all, i can return. She also suggested we hurry up and get married because that would sort it all out.
