Dont worry. They are giving it in this week. I and many other on this forum applied arous 15-19feb. They have received their visas yesterday and i got my LOI today and will get the passport hopefully in 2 days. Keep checking you email. Hope for the best.

Got an email stating that my application for study permit is approved on 12april. But I had applied through papers not by email. My passport is still with them. I haven't received my passport back. Is that email my visa? When will i get my passport back?

Niksh and tanmay i also received an email saying my application for study permit is approved. But I had applied on papers at VFS AHMEDABAD. Is thid my Visa? Because my passport is still with them. I didnt get my passport back. Please help. What to do?

Thanks @mca.poojasinha time is passing by and have got no other option than to wait. That is the cause of all this frustration. Let's just hope everything works well.

Same situation. Applied on 18th feb and still haven't received my visa. Have you tried making a case specific entry to CIC ?

@gsohi2011 Should i mention my tracking ID in the specific query made to CIC or would it be risky to do that?

I am facing the same problem. Did you enquire using that site? If yes , what was their reply?
