There is no such requirement of medicals or police certificate for trv. Download the application package from cic website for trv and follow the document checklist. It can be bit faster,If he submits the application online. With the paper based application its taking at least 70 calender days...

The tracking number (....pklhtrv.....) is showing that the processed passport has been dispatched from CHC Islamabad on 28/07/2014. Does anyone know if the passport will be at vac lahore this Friday so that my mother in law can collect it, or does she has to wait till next Monday?

My mother in law applied for TRV on May 15 from Lahore, paper based, no updates till todate. As per cic, 46 working days time delay have been reached. Is it +ve to have delays?? Hoping Insha Allah that she gets her visa any time soon.

After medicals are done from your end, they will ask your passport and any updated info in your application. Good luck.

My mother applied for TRV on 14 June. No news till now. Patience is the only option.

Simply go to cic main page. Click on immigration icon on left top. click on Visit, you will see on the right side " visit your children and grand children" thats it and follow the instructions. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/supervisa.asp

It would not be good idea to attach all applications ( parents and grandparents) together. And since you have more than 3 months till your convocation, I would suggest your parents should first apply for themselves, and hopefully when they get their visas, then they should try filing your grand...

I totally agree, please do not take it personal but your wife is not a genuine visitor, and I strongly believe had your wife mentioned in her application that apart from visiting the family in canada (which seems vague) that she is also pregnant, she probably would have never got the visa...
