Since I am from a visa exempt country, US, I have not received a VR/stamp on my passport. Now I am looking to extend my stay here, is my flight ticket from when I came suffice for when I came here when applying for a extension? Or does not having a VR make this harder

Also, as I don't have nearly enough money to support my stay, using her parents/ my parents bank statements may suffice? And showing proof that her rent is payed for from the native bands?

Did you show proof of ties for the first extension? Seems hard to prove when you are wanting to stay with your partner

Thank you, the problem is I haven't started the common law process and I can't until April, so I was going to extend it until April 2018 as I have already been in Canada for 6 months by the time thus April comes

Oh ok. Would it be smarter to go home for a few months then come back and restart or apply this go for a year? And should I apply for 6 months at a time?

If denied a year extension request for visitor visa to become common law, will it make it harder to be accepted if I try re applying again?
