Hi.. I had to renew my passport after the copr and visa were issued. I got mixed reviews in these forums. I checked with visa office (NDVO) and I was asked to send the old, new passports and copr along with the receipt of document update fee of $30 and letter stating the purpose of resubmission...

I was asked by NDVO to resubmit both the passports and copr through Vfs after the payment for document replacement.

I was in a similar situation and sent an email to Delhi immigration regarding this. I was asked to submit the new, old passports and copr through vfs after making the payment for document replacement. My application status which was 'final decision is made' changed to 'application in progress'.

Thank you for the response. I should renew it from India itself coz passport should have minimum 6 months to expiry while landing in Canada. So I will renew my passport, carry both old and new. Also COPR document needs no update I assume, because of this renewal.

I got visa and COPR but I should renew my passport before traveling to Canada, as it expire in 5 months. Should I submit my new passport to NDVO and get the visa stamped on it? Also should COPR be updated with new passport number ? Can anyone help me so that I will not run into any issues...

Hi.. My CRS score is 470 and I created and transmitted my application on May 8th by 8PM IST. But I got the Submitted status against my profile only by 8PM today May 9th.. Do I have a chance to get through in this Draw?
