i guess they have stopped pre-meds. i had done pre-meds but now on vfs it has been clearly mentioned that don't go for meds untill asked to do. recently, one of my friend visa got rejected without asking for meds.

For "STUDENT VISA" pre-meds - 20th november,2010 passport submitted- 30th november,2010 got replied- 24th december (asked for re-medicals) Had to change the term from winter to summer becoz of re-medicals. Requested for deferral letter. submitted deferral letter and passport - 16th feb,2011...

file number is different, which starts from Sxxxxxx

There is column for "VISA NUMBER" which starts with STxxxxx May be thats the common format for those who are requested for re-medicals (not sure)
