    Does that apply for applications processed even outside Canada? If it is going to be processed in the home country, I don't think it makes much sense to translate the documents. :) Thankfully I can send everything in portuguese, the papers I got from CIC says that I can send in either french...

    Do that depend of the office where it is processed then? In São Paulo they give everything back, unless they lose it. :P

    I would send pictures where one of the spouses isn't present, but not too much, just to show who were in the wedding ceremony. I am sending pictures of my husband and my family, and of me and his family. :)

    PMM, why do you say that? I applied for a new visa, to visit my husband, and am waiting for their answer. I still don't have the letter from Mississauga, but decided to try it anyways.

    I think so. Never heard of them keeping the letters, cards, pictures... Just in case, my husband and I are sending only copies of it - except for the pictures, but that we can print again if they don't send back.
