i guess it depends on how long your stay is. it's on the cic web page but i think it's 100 per day but i could be wrong. again the agent could ask you for proof of funds or not it depends.

you just go to any cic office and tell them that you want to apply for refugee status. They will interview you and basically they won't denied you unless you can't prove your identity. that's what he told me.

i was able to apply for refugee after two months and after a year I got my hearing next month. I would suggest if he really in danger to apply and see what happens.

I'm a Refugee claimant and CIC took my passport. I'm trying to move to the USA but I need my passport to go to the US embassy. You guys think if I call the CIC they can give me temporally my passport or should I just apply for a new passport?
