I don't think there is a definitive way of how they process files....at least that's from my observation. Who knows, but maybe it depends on which visa office you are applying to....if it's going through US, UK, or other similar economies as Canada there are more trust involved, less...

Thank you for your reply....but I am a bit confused. Where and when do you give them your second passport?? I believe as a sponsor, they only ask for a copy of Canadian passport to be sent with the applications. Wouldn't they ask if they need it??
