BC PNP status changed from Applied to In Process

There is no chance of getting the 600 points this year. Check the numbers for the Provincial Nominations backlog; the number of people with more than 600 points has been decreasing steadily. That only shows that every province does not have more spots available. Also, the last BCPNP draws are...

    BC PNP Tech 2024 Timelines

None, unfortunately. I was hoping for Nov 15, but now it's clear that BC doesn't have spots after this last draw. Something is going to be announced soon.

BC PNP 2023 Post your questions and timeline

I would say this Friday, maybe the next one. Sincerely, I don't know how many spots BC is getting those days. They might be short and will postpone the 600 as much as they can at this point.

Those days, consider 5 to 9 weeks after your status change to in process. Add 1 week if they required extra documents.

    BC PNP Tech 2024 Timelines

Months, 3 up to 7 months. I cannot find a person that got a nomination in the last 3 weeks. The draws this Tuesday shows that the 2025 numbers are low and will get even lower...probably the backlog will end, but nominations will get rare.

Do I have to enter my work history that I didnt claim points for BC PNP EEBC application?

In BCPCP, you only need to disclose the related work to the noc you are applying. Only using the current job might be seem as you don't have enough experience to back it up your application.

BC PNP 2023 Post your questions and timeline

Nop, they didn't ask for documents. After they change it to in process, usually in 2 days max you get an email. If you don't get it, your file goes straight to someone that will process. You and/or your employer will get a call after 3, 4 weeks. That seems to be the normal those days.

BC PNP 2023 Post your questions and timeline

That is odd for EEBC Tech. My status changed 2 days after I applied. Maybe they put a higher score first (130)? A specific profession? It looks so random. I am sure you will see your status changing this month. Be ready to provide extra documentation.

BC PNP status changed from Applied to In Process

I think waiting times will return to normal soon. At the beginning of the year, it was clear that the draw numbers were getting lower and lower. After two or three months, they announced that waiting times increased to seven months. Now, draw numbers are returning to normal levels in the last...

    BC PNP Tech 2024 Timelines

What documents did they ask and how long it took to reply? For some reason, you are the first person I know who has been "in process" for more than 5 weeks. Do you know someone else with a similar timeline? EEBC PNP Tech - Skilled Worker Applied: October 16, 2024 In Process: October 18, 2024

BC PNP status changed from Applied to In Process

Thank you for sharing. I've seen people getting the "In Progress" in just one day. It used to mean that you would get something in three weeks or so. Now, it just means that you cannot take your application money back, because it will take a loooooong time.

It just means that they will check something. If it is all good, don't worry. Can you share your score? If you have decided to go NON-EE, it may take a while. Any updates with your process since them?
