Congratulation! It will take 8 months (from Pakistan) if your profession is in demand in Canada (according to new rules), in other case you have to wait for 8 years. Hope for best.

I applied under skilled worker (simplified process) category. I am civil servant (government job), which is also mentioned in my passport. Will this affect my immigration process or I will be asked for new passport or resignation or something else. Have any body some knowledge in this matter...
