Oh brother, gotta love it. I sent email to the address on the cic website and got an automated response saying they'll respond within 28 days >:(

The problem is that we're not in Canada and if I understood correctly you can only call the number on their website if you're in Canada and if you filed your application from within Canada? Our visa office would be London and they don't take phone calls :/
