We got our colombian police checks really quickly and easily so i wouldn't worry about that....unless your wife has lived in other countries it should be pretty straight forward! and we did get one of the checks online, the other the embassy asked us to send was the one where you pay the bank...

we sent my husbands passport in a couple weeks before you sent your wife's and still no news on ours either....wonder what the hold up is!! fingers crossed they get sent back approved ASAP!

well, bogota has had my husbands passport for a little over 2 months now, is this normal?!?! starting to freak out a little! really want him here by xmas, but the days are just passing by with no news....

we have not been asked for an interview yet, the last police check we were waiting on arrived today, so once we send that in, hopefully we'll hear more...i'll keep you posted!

it's fine if you didn't send them, after you receive your AOR from bogota they will send you another letter asking you to send any missing documents on a checklist, your medical and police checks will be marked. i would suggest getting the police checks in order as they take some time usually...
