I would say you can find work rather quickly but it won't be exactly what you want and on the pay rate you would like it (maybe a helpdesk job at first)... But it's a start, then just keep searching and you will find a place were you will be comfortable.

You might want to look into that, since you don't require then as settlement funds perhaps there is a way to avoid being taxed for them latter on.
