Thanks CANzanillo! It was long overdue. This morning I was trying to change my information and it wasn't working, I guess I now know why :) I feel like the "Medical sent" section is a little ambiguous as to its meaning. For me, it would be more helpful to know when they actually did the exam...

We got SA on Jan 21, so you should have AOR2 in the next couple of days :)

So, even though nobody could tell us where our application was it seems it was in Mexico like it was supposed to have been as we got AOR 2 today.

    Spousal sponsorship

My husband's doctor said the same thing. We explained to him that it was a sponsorship and that it was required before the application was sent and he understood and did it for him.

I'm on the exact same timeline except Mexico has no idea where my file is and Canada can't even find it on their system. To say I'm freaking out is an understatement. I messaged Mexico again and they haven't gotten back to me after a week and a half and I don't want to e-mail them again but I'm...

How have I never seen this before? They should make this information more noticeable or available to the general public. I was thinking I hit the goldmine when I found this forum to compare more realistic time lines and now you post this. This is great! Well, as long as you're in the lucky 20% :)

    new IMM008 form - feb 2015

The only difference I noticed was that they took out the requested visa office part. I think they got tired of people filling it out wrong. Doesn't sound like it would be cause for concern, I wouldn't worry about it. Specially not within days.

Is that something they do? Do they normally ask for further proof or do they just ask for an interview? It's just that we're not as lucky as some of the couples here who live with their spouse so there's less photographic evidence, and now there's a little bit more :). I'll probably just wait then.

Not yet, I have mine as a sponsor but not his yet. His papers have only been at the VO for a little over a month and we haven't received anything from Mexico yet so we don't have his UCI

Has anyone sent like an updated package of pictures and stuff? Our application should be in Mexico but we have not yet received AOR. We have taken a couple more trips since we sent our application, he's met my extended family, etc. Would this be helpful? I feel like it'd save us the time of a...

Thanks CANzanillo :) I know Mexicans are asked for a police check part way through their application but I was wondering if for non-mexicans they do the same. My husband is from Costa Rica and the Mexico VO processes his application. We submitted his police check when we first applied in...
