Hey I stayed in Canada for LESS than 6 months and wasn't really required to submit a PCC. But was called for fingerprints and I met a few people in a similar fix. I was never involved in any criminal or civil case when I was there. Don't know how officers judge.. :)

If you haven't received your PPR, you are lucky. Coz in the PPR it clearly asks for your PCC, if not submitted already. And yes, I would suggest you start with the procedure right away.

haha. Fat chance. There's another applicant on FB - Rubinder Singh - who got a call for fingerprint scanning for similar reasons 2 weeks ago. He is still waiting for his visa. :/ I am so depressed!

Yes. difference here is that I wasn't in Canada long enough to get a PCC, but long enough to be called for fingerprinting.
