UPDATE: Just got a response. TRV refused because of travel history and purpose of visit. I plan to reapply again. I cant do much about my travel history. But I plan to include a stronger cover letter explaining my purpose visit. Any advice is welcome.

Im kinda in the same boat as you. I applied through Pretoria Office though. Been waiting 25 days now but processing time listed is 14 days, just keeping my fingers crossed. Hopefully someone will give a helpful response. All the best.

Thanks for replying Hangon. I submitted 25 September and the put 14 days as the processing time. How long did it take for u to get a response? I submitted online.

Still no news from the embassy.... Was wondering if the processing listed on the cic website is calendar days or business days?

Re: No response from delhi-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca regarding status From what I've learned from the seniors on this forum, lying to cic is a bad idea. You risk being banned from Canada for 2 years.
