Hey all, Anyone who has received their CoPR and has it sent to their Canadian address give me an approximate time as to how long it took at arrive, the visa office has told me they sent it on the 15th Oct and have still not received anything, im thinking it may be time to follow up on it?

Nope, still had nothing from them, possibly no PPR for me as im visa-exempt any time now im hoping!!

No worries, your application sounds pretty similar to ours, she is a citizen (it could possibly affect it but not by much I would'nt think), are you a UK citizen? Where abouts in Canada you living, how you finding it? =)

Gotta agree with this, I was completely shocked when I saw it change to "In Progress" I was expecting 4+ months before I would hear anything, it does feel quite random how they select which ones to process first maybe mine fell off a shelf and floated onto someones desk! Hopefully yours aint too...

Thanks Sweden, it seemed odd to me that they would reject it without any contact (expecially seeing as they have no real reason to), but your mind starts to wonder when "DECISION MADE" with no follow up contact informing you of what kind of decision they made. Hopefully I will receive something...

I think it was quite well organised we split ours into sections: sponsor docs, applicant docs and proof of relationship. The proof section consisted of a timeline which matched our description of how our relationship developed (incl photos/receipts anything that confirmed what we had said, that...

yeahh its so fast it makes me uneasy :s ..however i would imagine they would ask for an interview rather than rejecting us ..seeing as we are a very straight-forward case p.s im sure many people in this channel will get theres soon also!

hey thanks!! im just slightly worried that somethings wrong as it was so fast! ...but from what I have read they'll usually ask for an interview before making a negative decision ..at least i hope so!

yeah! we're both really happy its moving along, we both thought we would hear nothing for months and months once it left Canada! And i just got my permission to stay in Canada while we wait for it to come through also which is nice :p
