Application transferred from Bufallo to LA Consulate General

Thanks for all the good wishes. I applied in 2009, March or April, to Nova Scotia. Sent full application end of July, which was acknowledged by Buffalo in a few weeks. I don't have exact dates, but I can say that everything went normal, no long waits. I applied as registered nurse. Robert

E-Cas status didn't change. Probably they didn't do anything, it was transferred and LA will decide.

Application transferred from Bufallo to LA Consulate General

I have an application with Buffalo since july 2009, with "received by visa office" status ever since. Today I received an email stating that the application was transferred to the Canadian Consulate General in Los Angeles (to expedite the process). I don't know if they did anything in Buffalo...

Well, I think it has to do with economics and I'll quote the guide: "However, you may apply if you believe there are other factors that would help you to become economically established in Canada that were not reflected in your points assessment. Send a detailed letter with your application...

I'm not sure I have enough points

I may not get enough points (67) because my IELTS results are not very good. I know English pretty well, working as Registered Nurse in the US and having plenty of experience. Also, I'm a naturalized US citizen. However, i never took an English test and performed poorly, I may get 8 to 10...

    Missing documents

Hello, I would like to ask a question, maybe someone had a similar experience: I have the approval to send the full application to Buffalo within 4 months. What happens if I miss a document in the application, or it is not 100% correct? Do they deny, or send a letter requesting the document/or...

Which passport to use for landing?

Maybe someone had this experience and could answer my question: if you hold two passports, one US and one from the country of birth, which one should be put on the application and later used for landing (from the US)? Thanks, Robert
