@OhCanadiana--I'm not even sure, but that might be the problem. I thought our case was simple, it's been 15 months since they've received our app., avg processing time is 9 months, but our e-cas message stated that processing BEGAN 11 months after they received it. Still waiting patiently though :)

Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought that the average processing time is 8 months from when the Indian visa office receives the file to the issuing of the pr?

This is great news--sadly when the office told my partner he had to have his done in 45 days ( mid May), no one made any mention of this! So, meds were done and apparently that was $300 down the tubes :-\ But, what's done is done and I'm thrilled for the people who get to benefit from this! :)

I contacted the VO about a month before we left. They changed the address on e-cas and we have received confirmation that they know we are here.
