The immigration officer at CIC told me that it takes them 4 days to endorse a visa once they have your documents. As far as medicals are concerned, these may take up to 6 weeks to get processed.

He's right. I applied in June 2009 and am Sep 2009 AOR. The didn't open my file until April 2010. Not to sound pessimistic or anythin but they take a lot of time in processing immigration cases, so just hang in there. The best way is to just forget about the process and carry on with your daily...
