The phone number that I have on my application I lost it. Do I need to send a message to webform or let it stay because my applications are in my country for further processing I'm just waiting on the background check to be completed. Or they can use my email to get in contact with me?

I was told that my application are in process and they would email me when they are going to do the background check. But what I want to know is how long does it take to do a background check ? I got this message in November.
