Thread For applications Through SYDNEY (AUSTRALIA) Office

Same here, partner (applicant) cannot log in to ECAS. AOR2 was received on 17 Aug. Hopefully your app went to Ottawa - much quicker there.

    JUNE 2014 OUTLAND applicants

Thank you! You rock! Have one more question: Does the passport request (in most cases - I know there may be exceptions) come via email?

    JUNE 2014 OUTLAND applicants

Thinking ahead a bit but ... Questions about passport requests: I found different answers for this after searching. For those from visa exempt countries, it appears a passport scan is all that is required (for the majority of cases, of course there may be exceptions). I was wondering what...

    JUNE 2014 OUTLAND applicants

Similar to my situation. No Canadian income in the last 6 years. I showed proof of my foreign income for the past 12 months (unofficial bank statements showing deposits made + letter from employer). Also provided a copy of my most recent Option C which was from 2008. Sent a copy of my job offer too.

    Option C Printout Mix-Up :/ Panicked

... at first glance after receiving the Option C Printout, my initial reaction was to call CRA again because I thought they had accidentally sent my notice of assessment. They look somewhat similar as they contain similar info.

The Option C Printout I sent looked very much like a notice of assessment but with less details.

    JUNE 2014 OUTLAND applicants

Ok, great ... now I'm confused again. ;D Are our apps sent off to the VO? ... or is this all done through some internal system via the Internet or something?

    JUNE 2014 OUTLAND applicants

Ok, that sounds logical and makes sense as everything is done "digitally". :D When I hear people mentioning "transfer", I presumed the applications were being physically sent to the VO, but that would be a logistical nightmare for Mississauga.

I was confused because according to sweetiepie46's details, SA and the "transfer" happened on the same date. ;D

    JUNE 2014 OUTLAND applicants

Apologies for this noob question (which has likely been answered many times) ... but does SA mean our application has been forwarded to the appropriate VO? The SA I received showed it was going to Sydney, Australia. Does this mean my application is in Sydney or is this "transfer" process an...

Thanks for replying! I was also curious to know ... how long did others have to wait from when their application was received (via courier) to seeing something on ECAS?

Thread For applications Through SYDNEY (AUSTRALIA) Office

Question: Does anyone know if the CIC office in Sydney will send mail overseas? I may be moving overseas (permanently) in the middle of the application process, and wife and I will need to change our mailing address.

    SENECA OR HUMBER

If interested in supply chain management (and if you have a lot of money), I would advise you to go for an MBA.

    SENECA OR HUMBER

In terms of "reputation", no difference. I would pick the school that's more conveniently located with the better instructors. Btw, humber and seneca are institutions considered to be vocational schools that provide diplomas and certifications. Neither school provides an "UG" (4 -year degree)...

Bachelor 3 vs 4 year and confusion

    1. You would need to ask Swinburne if you are able to transfer credits "from" SFU. You would also need to contact SFU and ask if they allow non-degree foreign enrollments in the upper-year courses. You will not likely be able to transfer all your Swinburne credits "to" SFU. From what I have...
