Well, that's how it is. I had to rush cz initially I had plans to travel with my in-laws...BUT,visa didn't come and hence the agonizing and frustrating wait

As far as I am concerned, my packing is almost complete. Also I have cancelled my admission from uni... Now just waiting for visa at home.

Have done that and have also faxed the receipt again.

The thing is that in my case, my husband paid the PR fee aft the AOR was received as CHC asked for it in that letter. But aft almost a year, when they sent me PPR, they asked for the PR fee again!!! Honestly, I don't understand the procedures of the CHC people!

There are cases I know in which even after getting the visa, their e-cas showed "in process" e.g. my in-laws got their visas and even after that it stated "in process". So, I guess it is pretty random... :l

Assalam alaykum guys, I have a question and would appreciate if you guys give me some answers. Is it really necessary for the e-cas to change to "decision made" in order to know that the visa has been stamped? I mean my e-cas never changed from "in process" even when I was done with my re-meds...

I haven't received it yet. Today is the 29th day since CHC received my passport.

Can you please tell me did your husband's e-cas change from "in process" to "decision made" when he got his visa back?

I sent it in a special greyish silver envelope (I think it is used for special mails which include Passports) which is sealed tight. That envelope indicates that there is a passport inside.
