I got LAA last Thursday and I am now updating my profile. I attended high school for 5 years however, the options are 2 years, 10 years but there isn't a 5 year option. Any idea what should be selected? Can I leave the high school part out and just input the college information?

After the Passport request email, can you say how long before we get them back? 2020 has been a crazy year and I've submitted the application from March 2020, just gott the PPR. IRCC has my passport since Monday. Is this confirmation that I git the Visa? Should I start making plans?

Maybe if you humbled yourself a little and see attending university and taking your family as an opportunity not a privilege then the officers would consider your case. Choice of words in a SOP can throw the officers off. Remember, this their country, not yours and you want something from them...

Not yet, I submitted my paper application in Mid March and still nothing. I know there is a pandemic but waiting 10 weeks now without an answer is keeping me on edge.

I applied for me study permit Mar 12 and it is still being processed. The delay is disheartening as Fall is right around the corner.

Anyone who has applied for study or open work permit from Jamaica? Any news from IRCC as yet?
