Does any one here know any husband or wife who has been waiting (after AOR) for more than 20 months . Furthermore, Please shed some light on the current processing times of Islamabad. It is definetly not 16 months as I have judged by reading this forums. ThankYou.

godisgreat, background checks on husbands are tough now a days considering so much is happening in Pakista but I don't think ISI conducts background screening of CHC-Isb applicants. More likely it is the Pakistani Police responsibility. This explains all the delays in checks :P

godisgreat, any suggestions which company to hire. I googled some private background screening companies and cbrm.com.pk popped up. Do you think that CHC-Isb will believe some thrid party clean chit. They have their own checks and this will not sway their minds.

It will be my 15th month in March 2011. Still waiting for a remedical.

Yes, we have been sending it through TCS Express Service. It costs a little more but takes just one day to reach and they even send you an SMS on delivery.

Just keep sending them pictuers, telephone bills, skype logs, financial statements and receipts of gifts every two months.

Guys, my wife called the MP office asking them to contact CHC-Isb regarding any updates or documents that may require. It turned out that they sent a letter for remedical but it did not reach our house address. So we emailed the CHC-Isb and they sent us the scanned copy of the letter today.
