LOA ready GIC ready File ready Ielts 7.5 (nothing below 7) When is the good time to file my application for january intake to CHC?

Bro I got my GIC last night... Had it been a day before, i could have applied lol... anyways, its all about your stars eventually, Now my file is ready, just waiting for september to start and hoping for the best!

I just woke up, checked my mail and i see nothing lol. No GIC. So now its finalized that i'll apply on 1st or 2nd september for jan intake, plenty of time now. :-X ??? 8)

I guess the embassy will cross check with scotiabank, all they really need is your name, gic ip number and remittance bank info... i dont think u would have any problem... unless any of the visa officers has PhD in english... just kidding ;D .. u r safe

I did on 26th July, my TT receipt has 29 July on it, maybe it says money got delivered on 29th. But it takes 3-5 days to fund gic and another 1-2 days to issue it. I am gonna stay up and wait and watch some movie online lol

13 minutes!! Ah well i'm gonna have some red bull just to stay up all night and wait for gic.... u just lifted my hope and made me rethink to drop my january plans lol

I have made up my mind to wait for one last day, if i dont get my GIC, I'll defer my admission to january intake and apply on 1st september. I really dont want to experiment or give embassy any chance to reject my file, afterall its all a big hassle getting refunds, becoming ineligible for spp...

Embassy/Scotiabank should have been mature enough to provide an alternative guideline especially when the fault lies on their side due to strikes or whatever reason.

I just called the number that meera gave and they said that my account hasnt been funded yet. WOW!! They said normal timing is 3-5 business days and that i should wait a little more. This is bad... really bad!! :-[ :-X :'( Should i apply now with receipt or postpone my visa till january intake!!

Thanks Meera. I'll try tonight. I got official certificate from my bank on letterhead and got the tt receipt stamped and signed just as second option before i submit file tomorrow. I just hope they send me the gic certificate tonight or else i'll be doing a big gamble :-\ :-\ ::)

Cavirk, Did u get the gic certificate just now or yesterday? does scotia bank work at night time too to process certificates?

I transferred money on 26th july, no GIC so far, less than 20 hours left to apply till tomorrow morning when embassy opens, what should i do? :o ??? :-\
